I need some help with the WPM as I want to setup alerting and monitoring for a website hosted externally with a third part to monitor when the website goes up and down.
I have recorded a transaction which basically has the steps of browsing to the web address and then going through a couple of sub-pages within the website. I am trying to set up alerting for this transaction so that I know when the website goes down.
But when I go into alerting module and set up the trigger condition for the transaction status is equal to down or anything else except UP for that matter, the object from my object list disappears as if the trigger condition of anything other than UP is not compatible. Has this happened to anyone else. How do you get around it?
