You will most likely find that these events are in the NetPerfMon events naturally. Check to see if they are there and what node they register against. Can you show an example of the Event your seeing?

It's not set against a node, there are no node dependencies as we are monitoring external websites.

I am not sure that's possible the WPM Transaction has to have a WPM Player Location to run the steps from and that machine has to have WPM Player installed. In most instances that is the Orion server...
